Rada Pokarzhevskaya

 

Rada Pokarzhevska created “Da Voicez” in 2003 in the Ukraine. Her jazz-vocal ensemble was named "BC" then "B-complete".

 

The group won several Jazz Contests "DoDzh-junior" (2004-2006). The new life of the ensemble began in Moscow (Russia) after Rada moved there in 2008 and gathered new team, with permanent and session musicians.

 

As "Da Voicez" the group took part in several festivals including "Jazz Territory 2010", "Petrojazz 2011", "Gnesin Jazz 2012" and "MusOceanFest". As "Rada Po + Da Voicez, they won the contest "Usadba Jazz 2013" with brass section of the "Rada Po" group).

 

The LP "The One (by DVz)" contains four songs written by Rada Po: "Wrong Modes", "The Way You Feel", "Like You - Like Me" and "The One".

 

The project has now entered the recording phase.

 

Rada has been composing and arranging the songs for the new "DVz" album; a joint album with famous Russian jazz scene star and Orthodoxal Gospel Singers ("Mefody's Choir").
